Depression is often treated with psychotherapy and medication (talk therapy). Medication helps relieve many symptoms, but it is not an answer to the problem.

Talk therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy, which focuses on identifying and changing negative thoughts. Interpersonal psychotherapy focuses on relationships and problems that can
