A wheelchair ramp is an important tool for helping a loved one live at home in a way that is comfortable for them. If they are not designed correctly they could be unsafe to use.

ADA regulations require level landings at any changes in direction, to avoid compound slopes. They must also provide a gripping surface for wheelchair users.
