Caring For an African Grey Parrot

Like toddlers, African grey parrots can be bored quickly and require plenty of stimulation to avoid problems with their behavior. If they aren't stimulated, they could become destructive or start screaming.

They are highly intelligent and can mimic human speech. The trade in pets and destruction of habitats are the biggest threats to them.
