Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma, a form of cancer, is a form that develops in the protective linings surrounding certain organs. It is usually found in the linings of the lungs or abdomen (peritoneum).

Asbestos-related exposure causes an increased chance of developing mesothelioma. This includes those who worked with asbestos or lived near an asbestos mine or factory.
