Registration and Insurance Requirements for Electric Scooters

In the state of Connecticut, mopeds are required to register and obey traffic rules. They must use the right lane or shoulder (unless making a left turn) and can only carry one person.

Mopeds must also have an engine that is less than 50cc and produces less than two horsepower for brakes. If your scooter exceeds
