Using a Key Programmer

Modern key fobs go beyond simply keys; they can communicate with vehicles to start it or open the rear hatch, and so on. To do so they must be programmed to work together.

All car dealerships, auto manufacturers and auto locksmiths provide key programming. But you can also do it yourself, if you have the right tools.
