Strangely, the same logic doesn't apply when an American buys a standard book (or a car) which can bring into Canada with him and employ here. The fact remains that it is easier for Canada to evaluate such items at the border when compared to cyberspace, but i know of no cases of Americans being taxed on the books or cars they bring together when these are to occupy Canada for half the year just
