Key Programming and Data Transfer

The aim of key programming is to get the new car key to work. This procedure is usually performed by a locksmith, or a dealer.

To program a key you must insert it into the ignition, and then turn it to the "On" position without starting the vehicle. This process must be repeated a specified number of times in an extremely short time.
